"The Community Trust at Wigan Athletic is involved in all areas of Community work across Wigan and surrounding areas. Our Football in the Community Scheme is a great way of bringing the club closer to local people and crosses many barriers regardless of age, background, ability or disability.

Our aim is to involve as many people as possible in football. As Wigan Athletic have risen to the Premier League we have seen more and more people want to be involved in all aspects of the football club - this is where our Community Trust Scheme comes into its own.
